When you fix something - like a broken toy truck, or a lipstick stick, or an outdoor tap - it feels good.

It feels good to get up and move.

It feels good to improve things, your things!

It feels good to be positive and solution-oriented.

It feels good to use your amazing hands and brain on something that will make you and your loved ones happy.

It feels good to fix things.

This National Mental Health Awareness week, we know that fixing your things can't fix everything.

But we also know it feels good to fix, and feeling good is a start.

Fix well, friends; be excellent to yourself and cherish your brilliant folk.

It's Recycling Week again in the UK and we're re-excited to be a part of it. Here at FixIts, we love recycling - as a great last resort. But before we recycle something, we reckon there are loads of ways we can extend its life. So here's to reusing, repurposing, refixing, reimagining. Recycle, for sure, but before you do so, have a think how you can extend something's lifetime a little longer? (Spoiler alert: it's fun!)
Reusing things is a really practical, creative way to save time and money, and do your bit to save waste. We've pulled together some ideas below that celebrate the art of reusing. Try reusing one thing this week?
We were tidying up some of the things in our garden this week, and realised FixIts is so good for all the bits and bobs we needed. Take the eyelets below. If we didn't have FixIts, we'd have to wash our hands, jump in the car, drive to the shop (get stuck in a jam), choose from hundreds of products, wait in the queue... you get the idea. With FixIts it's quick and easy, and way more fun! Happy green fingers.
